Beks, John - Western Victoria "Soccer Football" 1955-2005: The First 25 Years Years And Then...
Based on slightly expanded extracts from the author's autobiography, this book provides a potted history of soccer in western Victoria, including Warnambool, Portland, Port Fairy, Colac, Terang, and Mortlake. It includes autobiographical material, references to migrant groups, the various grounds used, leagues and clubs going into and out of recess, and longstanding prohibitions of playing sport on Sundays.

Grant, Sid - Jack Pollard's Soccer Records
Compiled by the legendary soccer journalist and administrator Sid Grant, this 1974 book contains an illustrated A-Z overview of notable Australian players, leagues, administrators, clubs, touring sides, records, and assorted ephemera. Unfortunately, much of its information insofar as record-keeping goes is highly unreliable.

Hay, Roy, and Syson, Ian - The Story of Football in Victoria.
Commissioned by Football Federation Victoria in 2009 for the 125th anniversary of soccer in Victoria.

Hetherington, Harry - History of Soccer in New South Wales
A monumental 17 volume collection of scores, tables, news articles, photos, correspondence and all manner of ephemera charting the history of soccer in New South Wales from 1884 until 2000. Compiled by Harry Hetherington, I'm told that at least some of this work is based on the work of Sid Grant, the legendary NSW soccer journalist and administrator.

Howe, Andrew - History Of The Australian National Soccer League
Published in 1999 and affiliated with the Studs Up fanzine, this is a season by season statistical overview of the NSL up until the point of publication.

Kelly, Jim - On The Ball
Thorough junior soccer coaching manual published in 1962.

Schwab, Laurie - The Socceroos And Their Opponents
Published in 1981, this book mostly focuses on Socceroos history from the 1960s onward.

Stell, Marion K. - Girls In Sport: Soccer
Aimed at girls interested in playing soccer, this book by Dr Marion Stell includes instructions and training advice, an overview of the Matildas, and interviews with players Julie Murray, Cheryl Salisbury, Bryony Duus, Dianne Alagich, and referee Tammy Ogsten.

Unknown - Sunday Despatch: Jack Boulder's Australian Football Guide 1951
A 1951 booklet serving as a guide to the Australian state leagues for people from the UK playing the soccer pools. For Australian historical purposes, it is useful for collating the scores and table for some of the recent seasons.
